FedEx and NetSuite,
carrier synced natively
In8Sync DirectConnect connects FedEx carrier services to NetSuite — label generation, tracking updates, and delivery confirmations post back to Item Fulfillment records automatically.
What syncs between FedEx and NetSuite
Every FedEx carrier event — from label creation through proof of delivery — writes back to the originating NetSuite record automatically.
NetSuite Item Fulfillment records trigger FedEx label generation via the FedEx REST API — selecting Express, Ground, Freight, or International based on your configured service rules — without leaving NetSuite.
Real-time FedEx tracking milestones — picked up, in transit, out for delivery — push to the NetSuite Item Fulfillment and Sales Order records as they occur, giving operations and customer service accurate shipment status without polling.
FedEx delivery confirmation events — including recipient name and delivery timestamp — post to the originating NetSuite Sales Order, enabling automated fulfillment closure and downstream billing workflows.
NetSuite Return Authorizations trigger FedEx return label generation — printed or emailed to the customer — and the return tracking number writes back to the RMA record for inbound shipment monitoring.
FedEx Freight BOL requests originate from NetSuite Transfer Orders and Purchase Order shipments — with pallet count, freight class, and special handling instructions — and BOL numbers write back to the source records.
FedEx pickup requests schedule automatically when NetSuite fulfillment batches are released — eliminating daily phone calls to FedEx and ensuring couriers arrive when your shipments are ready.
FedEx One Rate and standard rated quotes return to NetSuite during order entry — allowing your team to select the optimal service level and populate estimated freight cost on the Sales Order before committing.
FedEx Proof of Delivery documents — including signature capture — attach to the NetSuite Sales Order record automatically upon delivery, supporting dispute resolution and revenue recognition workflows.
Three steps to go live
In8Sync DirectConnect is listed on SuiteApp.com. Install it directly inside NetSuite — no external server, no separate vendor login, and no iPaaS subscription required to connect FedEx carrier services to your ERP.
Our team configures your FedEx account numbers, service-level rules, ship-from locations, and carrier cost GL accounts — including Express, Ground, Freight, and International service lines — to match your exact NetSuite instance.
Connect your FedEx account credentials in two clicks. Label generation, tracking events, and delivery confirmations begin posting to NetSuite in real time from that moment forward.
Built differently
Express, Ground, Freight, and International — including FedEx One Rate — are all handled by a single In8Sync DirectConnect configuration. Service selection rules drive the correct FedEx product automatically based on weight, dimensions, and destination.
FedEx pushes tracking milestones to In8Sync DirectConnect the moment they occur. NetSuite Item Fulfillment and Sales Order records update in real time — no scheduled polling job, no nightly import, no status lag.
In8Sync DirectConnect is a SuiteApp installed directly inside your NetSuite account — no separate integration platform, no per-label fee, no third-party server in the data path between your ERP and the FedEx REST APIs.
Common questions
Does In8Sync DirectConnect require an iPaaS or middleware platform to connect FedEx and NetSuite?
No. In8Sync DirectConnect is a SuiteApp installed directly inside your NetSuite account. There is no external integration platform, no per-label fee, and no third-party server between your ERP and the FedEx REST APIs.
Which FedEx services does In8Sync DirectConnect support?
In8Sync DirectConnect supports FedEx Express (including overnight and 2-day), FedEx Ground, FedEx Freight (LTL), and FedEx International services. FedEx One Rate pricing is also supported for qualifying shipments.
Can In8Sync DirectConnect handle multiple FedEx account numbers mapped to different NetSuite subsidiaries?
Yes. Multiple FedEx account numbers can be mapped to specific NetSuite subsidiaries, ship-from locations, and GL accounts — supporting multi-entity and multi-warehouse NetSuite configurations.
How are FedEx carrier charges posted to NetSuite?
The rated freight cost for each shipment posts to the configured GL account on the Item Fulfillment record. For international shipments, duties and taxes can be mapped to separate GL accounts if required.
What happens if FedEx API services are temporarily unavailable?
In8Sync DirectConnect includes a built-in retry queue. Label requests and tracking webhook events are held and retried on exponential backoff — no shipment data is lost during a FedEx API outage.
